The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out EV Charge Point (EVCP) and electrical maintenance services for one of our industry leading clients. The role involves completing annual maintenance checks across all sites, covering both EVCPs and associated electrical infrastructure.
In addition, the role may include supporting EV maintenance activities for other client sites as we continue to expand our operations and maintenance asset portfolio. Some overnight stays will be required, as sites are located nationwide. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability, safety and performance of EV charging infrastructure at sites ranging from rapid charging hubs to destination and hotel installations.
Work at various locations throughout the UK undertaking planned preventative maintenance on EVCPs and electrical infrastructure.
Testing of equipment and ensuring accurate recording of results and reporting back to the Operations & Maintenance Manager.
Complete annual inspections, functional testing and safety checks for EVCPs and associated electrical infrastructure. The EV Maintenance Engineer holds full responsibility for reading and signing such documentation.
Perform remedial electrical work as required, adhering to industry standards and manufacturer guidance.
Must possess a full clean driving license (up to 3.5T only).
- ~18th edition C&G L3 2921-33 & or 2921-34, testing and inspection.
- ~Experience with EV charge point installation, maintenance or commissioning.
- ~Advantageous - manufacturer training on Alpitronic, ABB or Tritium hardware & EUSR SHEA Power / Emergency First Aid.
