The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

The Tank Plater will undertake all duties associated with that of Plater/Welder, operating out of the Company's facility in Rotherham, satisfying the delivery of service to all customers and on specific projects. In addition, the Tank Plater will use technical skills and knowledge, satisfying client demand and delivering solutions to a high standard.

  • Safety - HSE Conformance.
  • Quality - To BS EN ISO 9001 Standard.
  • Procurement - To Flotech PS Process.
  • Weld SME - To Customer specification (ASME9 / BS EN / CE).
  • Fabrication & Assembly SME - To customer Specification.
  • Documentation - To BS EN ISO 9001 Standard.
  • Production - To Flotech project programming / Customer expectation.
  • Testing - To all assigned standards.
  • Equipment management - PUWER & User conformance.
  • Weld coding management - To ASME9 & BS EN.
  • Coded welder - Adherence to all HSE Hot Work Safety Systems.
  • Read and understand technical design drawing specification.
  • Product mechanical assembly to drawings specification.
  • Safe use of weld & power / hand equipment (To include grinder).
  • Knowledge of API & EEMUA standards.
  • Adherence / control / completion of fabrication documentation to CE standard.

Qualifications About you:

  • Weld to WPS Standards.
  • Use of various LOLLER Equipment (Cranes / Forklift).
  • Established Safety Behaviours - PPE / Safe working practices.
  • Working both independently and Leading team members.
  • Working to exacting deadlines and quality standard, Planning and programming / assuring best use manpower time and capabilities / competences.
  • Industry specific knowledge and experience.
  • Experience of working on storage tanks to API & EEMUA standards.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Competent in English & Maths.
  • Competent in I.T System use.
