The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We are looking for a team player with the relevant industry experience, and someone who is eventually looking to progress into a leadership role. This role will involve UK travel to the sites on which we work, with overnight stays where sites are outside of a reasonable travelling distance.

The candidate will be required to ensure that all electricity networks are installed in a safe and professional manner and to a high standard and in accordance with Utility Line Management Systems and electrical technical guidelines. They will work safely at all times and ensure safety of all those working around them.

More about the role:

  • To deliver work packages to a high standard (BS7671)
  • Review and understand fully the requirements of all work instructions
  • Provide technical advice on all cable installation, and design works
  • Complete electrical site surveys on existing supplies & new EV charger locations
  • Carry out risk assessments of the workplace
  • Complete LV cable terminations from 240mm – 1000mm
  • Working with large LV supplies within LV switch rooms and substations
  • Requirement to liaise closely with the Project & Site Managers to ensure workload is managed effectively in line with project timelines

Qualifications

Must possess a full clean driving licence (up to 3.5T only)

  • 18th edition C&G L3 2921-33 & or 2921-34, testing and inspection
  • AM2/NVQ
  • C&G 2330
  • Knowledge and understanding of current Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) at Level 3 (Regulated Qualifications Framework)
  • Experience with electrical infrastructure development, preferably the build of EV charging hubs
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team or individually
  • Right to work in the UK

Advantageous:

  • EUSR SHEA Power / Emergency First Aid
  • SMSTS/ SSSTS (preferred but not essential)
  • A professional manner when engaging with clients and their representatives is essential
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety regulations
