What You’ll Be Doing

As a YellowStone Driver, you’ll play a key role in our national operation, travelling across the UK to collect and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers
  • Supporting loaders when the vehicle is stationary
  • Planning your own routes and managing time critical schedules
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
  • Staying compliant with safety regulations and legal driving hours
  • Providing excellent customer service on every job
  • Sleeping in the cab while working away Monday - Friday

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

You’re not just a driver — you’re a professional who takes pride in doing things right. We’re looking for:

  • At least 12 months’ experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles
  • A valid HGV (C) licence, CPC card, Digital Tachograph card, and ADR licence
  • Experience operating road tankers and vacuum tankers
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Confidence working in all weather conditions and in a physically demanding role
  • A commitment to safety, compliance, and teamwork
