The purpose of this role is to drive the smooth, efficient, and accurate delivery of planned and reactive work across the business. As a key member of the Planning function, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our clients and stakeholders — ensuring every interaction reflects dependability, professionalism and reliability.

You’ll bring energy and focus to the planning process by organising resources effectively, maintaining clear and confident communication while supporting operational teams to perform at their best. Through proactive workload management, strong service level control, and timely, compliant scheduling, you will be part of a planning function that delivers industry-leading results and consistently outstanding customer experiences.

About the role:

  • Co-ordinate reactive, planned, and ad-hoc work streams to maximize resource utilisation and maintain smooth operational delivery, minimising downtime and maximizing commercial output.
  • Screen and validate incoming work orders, ensuring all required information is accurate before allocation to operational teams, setting teams up for success onsite delivery.
  • Review and manage outstanding work orders, ensuring tasks are accurately prioritised and scheduled to meet agreed service level agreements.
  • Communicate with customers to arrange access, confirm attendance and ensure a positive service experience.
  • Respond promptly to daily queries, maintaining organised inboxes and clear communication.
  • Maintain accurate records by logging all customer interactions accurately.
  • Processing out-of-hours customers payments through the online portal.

Qualifications

  • Track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced planning environment desirable.
  • Background in operations, utilities or logistics is an advantage.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and administrative skills.
  • Energetic, solutions-focused attitude with a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Adaptable and responsive, able to handle competing demands.
  • Transparent and proactive in progress updates.
