The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

The Mechanical Supervisor will undertake all duties associated with that of Mechanical Fitter/site supervisor, operating out of the Company's facility in Rotherham as well as clients' sites, satisfying the delivery of service to all customers and on specific projects. In addition, the Mechanical Supervisor will use their technical skills and knowledge, satisfying client demand and delivering solutions to a high standard.

More about the role:

  • Provide site service and maintenance at petrochemical sites and airports throughout the UK.
  • Undertake planned and reactive maintenance works, ensuring line manager is fully briefed regarding task progress.
  • Address issues that arise and provide positive solutions and implement to provide the best service to the client.
  • Complete site documentation accurately and in a timely manner. This will include permit requests, method statements & risk assessments.
  • Ensure all works documentation is fully completed and correct and submitted in a timely manner and within any specified deadlines.
  • Compile accurate and precise written reports for customers.
  • Remote diagnosis and support of customer systems.
  • Support and contribution to workshop activities, including build and functional testing.
  • Any other duties for which the Mechanical Supervisor is experienced and qualified and capable of undertaking that will add value and at the request of line manager or the Managing Director.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Possession and demonstrable appropriate Hazardous Area Training.
  • Site safety passport.
  • Significant experience of mechanical equipment repairs.
  • Possession of relative qualifications and/or a recognised apprenticeship.
  • Ability to fault find and implement an appropriate solution.
