This is an opportunity for a highly organised individual to join our growing no dig CIPP lining division delivering works for our growing division. We have grown the fleet significantly and have top of the range innovative equipment. We are looking for individuals who have a great work ethic and are willing to learn.

Lining Engineer

Full time permanent Leeds

We are seeking a trainee Lining Engineer to join our growing team in Leeds!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Communicate effectively across the lining team to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Review Health & Safety documentation to confirm works are safe to proceed.
  • Carry out dynamic (point-of-work) risk assessments for all tasks.
  • Complete job sheets daily for each task.
  • Record and submit vehicle defect sheets for every vehicle each day.
  • Hand in CCTV footage daily for each job.
  • Ensure all required materials are available at the start of each shift.
  • Conduct monthly vehicle tool checks and verify all equipment on the vehicle.
  • Liaise with the Lining Supervisor and Project Manager to maximise productivity and minimise risk.
  • Identify the on-site customer contact and maintain clear communication throughout the job.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Experience working in drainage desirable but not essential.
  • A great attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Health and Safety Awareness training completed.
  • Desirable but not essential training courses: Manual Handling, Asbestos, Abrasive Wheels, First Aid and Working at Heights training completed - with current certification.
  • Class 2 Driving Licence (desirable but not essential).
  • A willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Full clean UK driving licence is essential.
  • Right to work in the UK is essential.
