Are you looking to start a career within the thriving EV and Electrical Sector? This role of Junior Estimator will be provided with on the job training from scratch and will work on a varied range of projects from LV/HV connections to full onsite builds and installations. This role will require you to assist in multiple tender enquiries across a number of different clients. Graduates looking to get into an estimator role are welcome to apply.
More about the role:
- Working with the Estimator & Senior Electrical Estimator to support on the delivery of high-quality estimates and tenders.
- Evaluation of tender enquiry documentation received from clients and ensure all relevant/correct information has been provided.
- Reviewing tender information received and outlining scope in order for the scheme to be accurately tendered.
- Maintain good working relationships with existing clients as well as developing new relationships.
- Attending Pre-Construction meetings with Operations & Project Management team when bids are successful and POs issued.
- Requesting asset values from our IDNO partners in relation to the scope of the project.
- Measuring designs using either PDF or Google Maps to ensure accurate take-offs are recorded.
- Ensuring internal tendering trackers are kept up to date.
- Check client feedback from tenders that are ongoing and completed.
- Set up new projects on our SharePoint.
