Location: South Of England - hybrid working arrangements with use of offices in Leeds, and other group offices as required.

The successful candidate will take a lead role in Aqua's Sales Community by managing client and partner relationships to ensure mutual value, hitting KPIs while exceeding client expectations. They will also develop new business and increase awareness of Aqua Consultants and all our services within the existing client & partner base, and new additions, through expert customer service, increased networks, and managed stakeholders. Additionally, they will establish strategic partnerships and generate business through existing frameworks, including maintaining and managing the corporate CRM system.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Initially:
  • Work within Sales Community, reporting to the Director of Clients & Partnerships.
  • Collaborate with all Service Lines (Engineering, Advisory, and Commercial & Project Services) to grow awareness of Aqua's capabilities within markets (clients, partners, supply chain) and generate revenue by increasing bid success and market understanding.
  • Provide client, market, and supply chain insight and knowledge to inform Aqua's decisions.
  • Directly manage certain prospective supply chain and partner organisations.
  • Lead on and support bids relating to specific clients/partners, providing information, authoring responses, and reviews as per Aqua's bid & governance processes.
  • Own and contribute to account plans.
  • Manage opportunities in the corporate CRM system.
  • Provide updates to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), wider Leadership Team (LT) (inc. Service Line Directors (SLDs), Sales Community and other key stakeholders as needed on external/client projects and partnerships.
  • Mid-long term:
    • Expand the role to include additional clients and functions, playing a lead role within the Sales Community.
    • Develop and promote Aqua Consultants' reputation within clients and partners, securing high client satisfaction scores and further revenue streams.
    • Establish and maintain a network of key decision-makers and influencers within client & partner organisations.
    • Conduct client satisfaction surveys, implement improvement actions, and stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and client-specific challenges.
    • Organise and facilitate client workshops, seminars, or knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen relationships and showcase Aqua's expertise.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative solutions and with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns.
    • Mentor and develop team members in client relationship management and business development skills.

    OBJECTIVES:

    • Generate sustainable revenue streams across new and existing client & partner base.
    • Aim to secure strategic partner status with clients & partners by enhancing Aqua Consultants' reputation with clients, partners and supply chain, and securing high client satisfaction scores.
    • Increase bid success levels through client positioning and intelligence, developing relevant partnerships and secure new revenue streams (new frameworks).
    • Deliver market, client, and supply chain insight and play an active role in internal decision-making.
    • Contribute to and manage account plans and CRM pipeline.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Management, Engineering, Science, or associated technical discipline preferred.
    • Strong project management, organisational, and delegation skills.
    • Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft CoPilot, and other relevant software.
    • Full UK driving license as travel throughout the UK will be required.
