Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for setting up, maintaining, cleaning and storing a wide range of drainage survey equipment and cameras
  • Support in manual handling activities to access drainage networks and moving required equipment to locations for surveys
  • Assist in setting out basic Signing, Lighting and Guarding
  • Operate as part of a confined space entry team in various roles of entry
  • Undertake weekly asset checks on all team allocated equipment
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and vehicle
  • Carry out detailed tool control to ensure equipment is not lost or left behind
  • Preparation and organisation of necessary equipment to undertake each task
  • Apply PUWER/LOLER weekly inspections
  • Utilising work-based App for reporting of Hazards/observations, positive safety interventions and improvement suggestions
  • Ensure correct PPE and task specific PPE is correctly utilised

  • Physically fit for outdoor work in all weather, lifting/moving loads within safe limits.

  • Be able to exercise good judgment when required
