The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
Due to the growth in recent years of our Planned Preventative Maintenance contracts, we now require a dedicated Ops Co-ordinator working alongside our PPM business. This role sits within Operations at Airdrie depot in Scotland and will also work closely with the wider Group PPM team based at Brize Norton.
This will involve day to day responsibility for planning and reactive works orders daily, best utilising our network of engineers to deliver on-time and high-quality delivery of works for PPM activities in Scotland.
The role:
- Co-ordinating operatives / engineers' daily schedules in collaboration with the Operations or Depot Manager to deliver on-time, high-quality services in Scotland.
- Work with the Depot Manager to ensure best utilisation of operatives / engineers time.
- Support Contract Managers to address Client work order requests.
- Provide data or reports in relation to reviewing status of the planned and reactive work orders.
- Input into the development of policy and procedures to continuously improve quality and consistency of services delivered.
- Assist with development of RAMs and safe systems of work.
- Work with the Depot Manager and sales team to cost / quote PPM and other contracts.
- Take part in the area on call rota.
- Travel to intergroup meetings and site meetings as required.
- Any other duties for which the post-holder is qualified and capable of undertaking.
Qualifications
What weβre looking for:
- Experience in Planned and Reactive service type roles.
- Good geographical knowledge of Scotland.
- Transport and Engineer experience.
- Experience in job planning in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all groups from front line staff to senior leaders.
- Excellent IT skills using all Microsoft applications including Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Ability to use Microsoft projects and produce project schedules for clients and the depot.
- Ability to produce bespoke data and/or clearly written reports as and when required.
- Experience of continuous improvement techniques and job delivery.
This role will require the post holder to be reliable, dependable, hardworking and open-minded to change. You will need to be able to review schedules and use initiative to make changes to best deliver a solution.
