Yard Operative – Standlake, Oxfordshire
Permanent, Full time: Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm
Are you ready to get hands-on, learn new skills and be part of a hardworking, supportive team? We’re looking for a proactive Yard Operative to join our busy site in Standlake.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with the acceptance, handling and disposal of various waste streams
- Labelling, sorting and storing waste materials
- Cleaning barrels, containers and yard areas
- Helping with stock control
- Operating power tools
- Supporting the site team with loading/unloading tasks
- General site duties as required
Qualifications
- Someone who is happy to work outdoors all year round
- Ideally with a Forklift licence
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Works well within a team and is flexible with shift working
- Willingness to learn and follow safety processes
- Reliability and good communication
- Must have a full UK driving licence
