The Family Fee Earner undertakes a wide range of family law matters, providing clear and expert legal advice to clients. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept informed of progress.

  • Negotiate settlements and liaise with opposing parties, courts, and other agencies.
  • Attend court hearings and mediations as required, representing the interests of clients under supervision or independently where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Keep abreast of developments in family law and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and professional standards.
  • Support the wider legal team in developing efficient processes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience working in Legal Aid would be beneficial/preferred.
