Chef in Penrith

Adkins & Cheurfi are delighted to be recruiting experienced Chef de Parties to join the team at a major family holiday resort near Penrith.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and motivated Chef de Partie to play an important role within a busy kitchen environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining high food standards, supporting junior team members and helping ensure the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen.

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee daily food preparation and presentation in line with company standards
• Maintain consistently high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation
• Coach and support junior chefs, helping them develop their skills and confidence
• Step up and act as deputy to the Assistant Kitchen Manager when required
• Monitor stock levels, portion control and ordering to help manage costs effectively
• Support initiatives to minimise food waste and improve kitchen efficiency
• Work closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service and operations

Candidate Requirements

We're looking for chefs who are passionate about food, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will need:

• At least 2 years' professional chef experience
• A valid Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Your own chef whites and professional knives
• A full driving licence and access to your own car due to the location

Salary & Benefits

• £15-£19 per hour, depending on experience
