Leading North East Law Firm looking to recruit a Private Client Fee Earner to lead the Private Client department.

Job Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on personal legal matters
  • Draught legal documents and correspondence
  • Attend client meetings and court hearings as required
  • Handle client queries and maintain strong client relationships

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant experience
  • Practising Certificate from the Solicitors Regulation Authority or equivalent

Education:

  • LLB (Bachelor of Laws) or equivalent legal qualification
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC) or equivalent

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in private client law
  • Demonstrable experience managing a caseload of private client matters

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of private client law and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • STEP qualification (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners)
  • Additional legal qualifications or specialisms in private client law

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with standard office hours
  • May require occasional overtime to meet client deadlines
