Job Description: Food & Beverage Manager (4* Hotel, Durham)
Role Overview
As Food & Beverage Manager, you will join a 4* hotel in the heart of Durham, bringing a heightened level of expertise, a results-driven approach, and a genuine passion for elevating the dining experience. You will support the smooth running of the Food & Beverage department, ensuring all aspects of the guest food & beverage service experience are delivered to the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Food & Beverage department
- Ensure consistent delivery of a high-quality guest dining and service experience across outlets
- Lead, motivate, and support the F&B team with a hands-on approach
- Drive performance through KPI monitoring, service standards, and continuous improvement
- Maintain excellent presentation, product quality, and service compliance at all times
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues quickly using strong problem-solving capabilities
- Manage rostering and resource planning to ensure efficient service delivery
- Support training and development to improve team performance and service consistency
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth end-to-end guest experiences
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in food & beverage service, with strong guest-facing operations knowledge
- Excellent managerial skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example work style
- Strong problem-solving ability and confidence working under pressure
- Passion for elevating standards and delivering exceptional dining experiences
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain high service expectations
