Leading North East Law Firm looking to recruit a Private Client Fee Earner to lead the Private Client department.
Job Duties:
- Manage a caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on personal legal matters
- Draught legal documents and correspondence
- Attend client meetings and court hearings as required
- Handle client queries and maintain strong client relationships
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant experience
- Practising Certificate from the Solicitors Regulation Authority or equivalent
Education:
- LLB (Bachelor of Laws) or equivalent legal qualification
- Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC) or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in private client law
- Demonstrable experience managing a caseload of private client matters
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of private client law and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- STEP qualification (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners)
- Additional legal qualifications or specialisms in private client law
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with standard office hours
- May require occasional overtime to meet client deadlines
