Adkins & Cheurfi have many exciting opportunities for Food Technicians across the North East. The perfect candidate will be friendly, organised and approachable, with previous experience in a food, catering, hospitality or school environment.
Especially with an enhanced DBS to work in Schools.
Role / Responsibilities -
- Assist with setting up Food Technology lessons and preparing classrooms.
- Prepare ingredients, equipment and resources required for lessons.
- Ensure all materials are ready so lessons can be taught effectively.
- Assist teachers and students during practical Food Technology lessons.
- Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas.
- Clean and sanitise equipment after lessons.
- Ensure food hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained.
- Help monitor and organise stock, ingredients and equipment.
Candidate
- At least 1 years' experience working in a kitchen, catering, hospitality or food-related environment.
- Previous experience within a school or Food Technology department is desirable.
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Enhanced DBS is essential
