Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough property searches, including local authority, environmental and water searches, to identify any issues affecting the property.
- Prepare and review contracts, transfer deeds and other legal documentation related to property transactions.
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and provide regular updates on transaction progress.
- Coordinate with mortgage lenders, surveyors, estate agents and other stakeholders to ensure smooth completion of transactions.
- Carry out title investigations and resolve any issues relating to ownership, boundaries or restrictions.
- Calculate financial figures such as stamp duty land tax and ensure all monies are accounted for and transferred securely.
