An experienced Claims Handler is required to join a specialist Marine Claims Management Practice who work closely with the Lloyd's of London market, as well as MGA's, Brokers and Retail Agents throughout the UK managing specialist claims covering a wide range of water vessels including paddle boards, jet ski's, narrowboats, yachts etc.
This will be an exciting time to join due to expansion and new clients coming on board offering career progression and development long-term and being part of their growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Working in a team environment.
- Managing Marine claims cradle to grave overseeing the lifecycle of the claim, Marine claims experience isn’t essential as full training and support will be provided
- Being a focal point for key clients including the Lloyds of London market
- Gathering and assessing evidence, checking policy wordings and establishing validity
- Calculating quantum and negotiating settlements up to circa £2m
