Environmental Loss Adjuster position for a National Loss Adjusting operation, focusing on the Northern region (North of the Midlands).
The Environmental Adjuster role involves managing a dedicated portfolio of 50-60 domestic and commercial environmental claims, such as escape of oil and pollution losses.

Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: As an Environmental Adjuster you will Independently manage a caseload of approximately 50 to 60 environmental claims from inception to completion.
- Technical Investigations: Proactively investigate domestic and commercial pollution incidents (e.g., fuel oil spills, chemical leaks) to determine the cause and extent of damage.
- Liability & Quantification: Assess policy liability, interpret insurance coverages, and accurately quantify financial and environmental losses.
- Evidence Gathering: Collect and analyse physical and documentary evidence to formulate robust, data-driven recommendations.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all investigations are completed promptly and in strict alignment with specific client service level agreements (SLAs) and regulatory demands.
About you:
- Must be based in the North of England or North Midlands to effectively cover the regional territory.
- Proven background in loss adjusting dealing with property or liability claims and environmental claims would be beneficial.
- Highly disciplined and self-motivated to operate successfully from a home-based office.
- Strong communication skills to manage stakeholders and deliver exceptional customer service during sensitive environmental incidents.
- Progression towards professional qualifications such as CertCILA, DipCILA, ACILA would be advantageous.
