An experienced Subsidence Engineer is required to join a Market leading Subsidence Claims Management Company where you will be part of a Specialist Subsidence Technical Team of vastly experienced and qualified Engineers and Technical Claims Handlers. If you are a real team player with a passion for what you are doing you will be fully supported by like-minded individuals and play a vital role within the business.
As an experienced Senior Subsidence Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for expert assessment, management and resolution of complex subsidence which will require a deep understanding of geotechnical engineering and provide a technical oversight to the Engineering team.
Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out technical assessments and investigation of large, complex claims predominantly desk based with the requirement to attend site as required.
- Handling claims involving landslips, sinkholes/voids etc.
- Attend site visits to manage risks and emergency works.
- Oversee complex repair schemes.
- Provide detailed reports and costs for individual claims and claim stages.
- Liaise with contractors and all relevant external suppliers.
- Work closely with and support the Contractor Network Manager.
- Help with Subsidence Audits.
- Review and adjust repair rates and schedules.
