An experienced Claims Handler is required to join an established, reputable Loss Adjusters due to growth and expansion where you will join their Property Claims Handling team providing an exceptional customer service ensuring a seamless and efficient claims journey from beginning to end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for Client/Customer queries through to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Manage your own caseload of Property Claims, general perils (Building & Contents) working with various Insurer Clients.
  • Handle claims through to conclusion.
  • Liaise with all relevant parties throughout the lifecycle of the claim.
  • Strive to provide a first-class customer service experience at all times.

About You

  • Experienced in handling Insurance Claims Property related from cradle to grave.
  • A background in dealing with all general perils - fire, flood, storm damage, escape of water, theft, accidental damage etc.
  • Experienced in being able to understand various Insurer Policy wordings to establish validity.
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
  • Good time management/organisation skills with diary management experience.
  • Be able to work in a pressured environment handling volume calls whilst having the ability to remain calm and provide a quality claims journey experience.
  • IT literate and the ability to utilise multiple systems.
  • Be able to travel to the local office for training/induction or as and when required for team meetings etc.
  • Industry qualifications i.e. CII or Cert CILA/BDMA or willing to work towards (desirable).

Hours are Monday to Friday - 35 hours per week. The role can be remote with the requirement to attend the local office for training/induction/team meetings.
