The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Working from a home base you will be responsible for proactively handling and settling a mixed caseload of third party Liability claims, typically up to the value of £100k, throughout the South West Region.
You will have to establish liability via thorough investigation on each case, whilst providing support and advice on claims issues to policyholders within specified time-frames.
Your portfolio of work will consist of a mixture of employers' liability and public liability claims, with a mixture of investigate and report only cases and on a cradle to grave basis.
Client relationships will be key, through management and delivery of SLAs and KPIs, in addition to proactive Client and Broker interaction when required to assist in efficient claims handling and business development opportunities.
Liaising with colleagues within different business areas, such as Property, Major & Complex Loss, Contractor Connections and Legal Services depending upon the nature of the claim, so attention to detail is essential to ensure each step of the claims process is as thorough as possible, collating and recording all necessary statements and evidence as required.
Applicant Requirements
- Ideally seeking an experienced Liability Adjuster ready for their next move, but may consider less experienced candidates with a background dealing with EL & PL losses.
- Candidates will ideally be working towards professional qualifications such as ACILA, ACII/LLB and you will be encouraged to complete qualifications.
- Proven ability to handle the full range of EL/PL and Product liability claims including claims involving third party property damage.
- Full UK driving licence.
