Are you an experienced Claims Technician with Property Claims Handling experience? Would you like to play a vital role within a renowned Loss Adjusters? Are you looking to join a growing and successful business offering long-term career progression?

Desk Technician remote working, working closely with dedicated Field Adjusters helping with claims investigations, dealing with all domestic general perils, managing the life cycle of the claims process, helping the Adjusting Team provide an exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Play a vital role within the business supporting a small team of dedicated Adjusters
  • Provide administrative support helping ensure claims progress smoothly and efficiently
  • Claims Handling and administration, preparing, drafting and formatting reports, letters and schedules
  • Gather all relevant evidence supporting claims investigations
  • Managing calls being the first port of call to the Adjusting team
  • Liaise and communicate with all relevant stakeholders including policyholders, brokers, clients etc, arranging appointments and progressing the claims process
  • Provide an exceptional customer service at all stages throughout the lifecycle of the claims process
  • Build knowledge of claims processes progressing to being able to handle more complex claims and decision making.

About you:

  • An experienced Claims Handler working in Household/Domestic losses
  • A background of working in an insurance or Loss Adjusting environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbally and written
  • Good diary management and organisational skills
  • Excellent IT experience/skills being able to use multiple systems
  • Industry qualifications ideally Cert CII or Cert CILA, working towards or keen to work towards
