Our client, a successful, privately owned, commercial property developer, is approaching the market via Adjacency Executive Search, to find their next Finance Director through internal promotion. This is a pivotal senior leadership role working in partnership with the business's owners and other senior executives to provide robust financial guidance, management and reporting. Managing a small, but well-established and proven Finance team, you will oversee all elements of the group and individual project financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing clear guidance, and advice on financial management ensuring compliance to legislation and good practice.
- Reporting and preparing information for the Owners, Directors and other key stakeholders, to support decision-making and business planning.
- Ensuring accurate management and statutory accounting information is recorded, maintained and reported to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and robust decision-making.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Managing the finance function to include performance management, recruitment and development of quality people ensuring your teams are appropriately skilled and qualified to meet business needs.
- Manage and contribute to projects and change programmes supporting the company’s values and objectives.
- Oversee the health and safety, procurement and HR functions.
