Our client is a leading service and supply, privately owned business based in Gloucestershire, with operating divisions across the Midlands and South West regions. Through continued growth, development and structural expansion they now require a proven HR Director to join the organisation to embed and develop a HR framework that will help the operation through a sustained period of change.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the SLT to ensure strategic corporate objectives are met through the development and implementation of relevant HR policies, practices and procedures.
- Be responsible for all aspects of staff hiring, development and training, communication and engagement with your delivery team.
- Co-ordination of activities and allocation of resources as necessary to ensure that all objectives and priorities are met.
- Leadership of the HR function; understanding and influencing the business strategy and the implications on the People Strategy.
- As a key member of the SMT; develop relationships internally and externally with all key stakeholders.
- Developing a clear vision supported by the HR Management team and clearly communicating the strategy internally (to the HR team) and externally throughout the organisation.
- Leading the way in managing performance effectively within the HR team and supporting the leadership team in driving effective performance management initiatives.
