We are excited to be partnering with a client in South Gloucestershire to recruit a Junior Accountant. In this varied role, you'll play a key part in the day-to-day finance function, supporting month-end processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to wider accounting activities as your experience grows.
Key Responsibilities- Manage purchase ledger processes, including supplier reconciliations and resolving account queries
- Process bank transactions and perform regular bank reconciliations
- Support month-end reporting activities, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Help ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and maintained in line with company procedures
- AAT qualified or currently studying towards ACA/ACCA
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or bookkeeping role
- Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Organised, proactive, and keen to develop your accounting knowledge
