This £200m t/o privately-owned business is looking for a National Account Manager to drive their Convenience, Independent and Wholesale operations.
The National Account Manager will continue to build relationships with the symbol group and the wholesale depot teams.
Of paramount importance is someone who can help grow their branded presence across these channels, gaining category prominence based on the quality and desirability of their brands, over competitors’ portfolios.

- Some of the key responsibilities of the National Account Manager
- Own and develop commercial relationships with key symbol groups and wholesale accounts
- Build and nurture relationships with central buying teams as well as regional and independent wholesalers
- Look to increase the branded volume within key accounts in the channel
- Be a true brand advocate of the business, by attending relevant conferences, networking and trade events
- The successful candidate will have
- Proven track record in convenience or wholesale within a branded FMCG food business
- Direct understanding of managing major symbol and wholesale accounts
- Able to personally win new listings and drive back-office teams to ensure convenience retailer satisfaction
- Be adept at JBP across your accounts to gain maximum financial return and category placement
- A strong new business development, growth mindset
- Full UK driving licence and ability and desire to travel to meet with clients.
