Our client, a part of a large global manufacturing group, is now seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager / Junior Finance Controller, to oversee the day to day accounting and reporting function of a growing division of their UK business.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with platform business leaders and accounting teams to provide financial guidance and insights.
- Oversee and manage all accounts payable and receivable activity for the business.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to ensure cost efficiency and robust planning.
- Assist in preparing key reports, including Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Operating Reviews, and the Annual Operating Plan.
- Advise and partner with a small, established management team on site.
- Develop financial models and projections for revenue, orders, expenses, income, and cash flow.
- Prepare reports and work closely with the Groups external auditor.
- Analyse plant operating results, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies to leadership.
- Drive productivity initiatives, monitor commercial commissions, and translate complex financial data into operational roadmaps.
Who You Are:
- Hold a qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Bring 5+ years of finance and accounting management experience.
- Skilled in accounting and financial forecasting.
- Skilled in audits and working with external auditors.
- A collaborative team‑player with excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
