My client is a global leader in providing sustainable solutions within various industries including renewable energy, manufacturing and power generation with a mission to protect people and the environment around them. They are now looking to recruit a HR Manager to work out of their West Yorkshire site who will provide a comprehensive, professional and proactive HR service to employees and senior management, while also supporting wider UK HR activities as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary HR contact for the West Yorkshire facility
  • Build strong relationships with managers and employees to support engagement and performance
  • Provide coaching & guidance to line managers on best practice people management
  • Lead & manage a range of ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues
  • Provide expert advice to managers in line with company policy and UK employment law
  • Support performance management processes and own the appraisal process
  • Ensure employee handbook is kept up-to-date and in line with changes in policies and procedures
  • Lead on recruitment and onboarding
  • Provide HR support to other UK sites when required

What We Are Looking For:

This role will suit a HR generalist with strong ER experience who can demonstrate they have managed complex cases independently in the past. The successful candidate will have their CIPD Level 5, (or equivalent), and have solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. They will also enjoy working in a fast paced, evolving environment and be proactive and solutions focused in their approach.
