Overview
Mission
- Run Sales and Operations Planning process for all products made in GB.
- Execute main decisions of this S&OP process in the supply part, with close contact with third parties in case of tolling (Cod Beck Blending - CBB - today based in UK).
- Manage a team of 3 people based in Chester, in finished goods distribution and purchasing/procurement of raw materials used by CBB.
- Report at HQ/SBU level on the performance of the Supply Chain for managed product categories Supply Chain, including manufacturing locations in China and USA, and inventory worldwide (raw materials and finished goods).
- Lead projects sponsored by Corporate Supply Chain in scope of managed product categories supply chain.
- Manage the local warehouse based in UK for domestic sales.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly S&OP process in its product lines.
- Update dashboard and all information supporting decision making (inventory levels, customer service rate, production/procurement reliability, sales forecast accuracy, customer complaints).
- Propose solutions to bring back to targets.
- Manage the meetings (scheduling, animation, notes).
- Apply all S&OP decisions regarding supply operations.
- In interface with external suppliers (tolling): purchasing forecasts, ordering, raw material procurement.
- Manage tolling process in ERP (EXACT & SAP) to provide inventory on time and deliver customer orders on time and in full.
- Operate the local warehouse used for domestic sales (replenishment decision based on demand).
- Play as a control tower to manage all operational issues coming from suppliers (raw material, finished goods) and customer service (orders management, delivery complaints management).
- Monitor indicators of its product categories worldwide and local warehouses: inventories, OTIF, distribution costs to reach targets and propose improvements, with special focus on inventories in UK.
- Make problems solving a day-to-day obligation, launching improvement projects accordingly.
- Maintain all documents and training resources related to its activities; transfer job knowledge to ensure proper recovery of activities.
- Provide good conditions of work and development for the team.
- Deliver requirements coming from projects.
- Share best practices in the community at Specialties SBU level (5 supply planning managers in total).
Qualifications
- Comparable experience in any field, minimum 5 years.
- IT skills in MS Office suite (master in Excel) and SAP; SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Communication and problem-solving skills.
- Team spirit.
