We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Trainer to join our growing Care at Home company. You will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality training to our staff, ensuring they are confident, competent, and fully compliant with care standards. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge and helping others grow within the care sector. The role is part-time Monday and Tuesday of each week (9am - 5pm).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions for care workers (including induction, refresher, and special modules).
  • Cover key topics such as medication administration, manual handling, infection control, safeguarding, and person centred care.
  • Assess staff competencies and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation.
  • Keep up to date with current CI standards and best practice in home care.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in care at home (domiciliary care) or an RGN (Registered General Nurse).
  • Previous training or mentoring experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about high standards of care and staff development.
  • Must hold a valid right to work in the UK.
  • Must hold full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
