What will your responsibilities be?

  • Drive the completion and documentation of all phases of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) by driving Customer Requirements and Specific Requirements.
  • Lead Customer Communication fosters strong relationships to achieve Customer Satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary PPAP documentation per AIAG guidelines and VDA guidelines.
  • Coordinate and lead quality relevant activities in the program.
  • Lead the definition of the Control Plan from incoming till deliver, including Safe Launch control having as goals Customer Satisfaction and Financial discipline, to avoid over quality.
  • Work with component and tooling/equipment suppliers to improve products and resolve manufacturing problems.
  • Train Quality and Production personnel in Quality requirements relating to specific programs.
  • Participate in internal audits as required.
  • Manage customer for Quality topics and synchronize with all SDT members.
  • Participate in workgroups (e.g. SDT, FMEA, DFMA, etc.) to ensure the quality input and customer voice.
  • Promote quality tools (8D, PSD, KT) inside the SDT, being leader for the problem‑solving activities during the different phases of the project.
  • Ensure prototype quality (incl. Process).
  • Interface to Supplier AQE and Quality Engineers.
  • Prepare quality section of Supplier Statement Of Work.

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

  • Degree in Engineering.
  • Professional background in Manufacturing and/or Quality and/or Engineering.
  • Solid Knowledge of Standards for Quality Management Systems (QMS): e.g. ISO TS 16949, VDA (VDA 6.3, VDA 2, VDA RGA) / AIAG.
  • Application of QMS tools and techniques: APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, Inspection planning, SPC (statistics).
  • Solid knowledge in GD&T (datum system, ASME vs ISO differences, functional gauges), RPS.
  • Highly appreciated design and CMM knowledge.
  • Experience with problem‑solving methods (e.g. 8D, Kepner‑Tregoe).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Min 5 years relevant working experience on quality related activities in a development and/or production environment.
  • Experience with OEM’s, and/or supplier.
  • English (minimum B2) and German – fluent written and spoken.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Sense of innovation and leadership.
  • Driving license and mobility – business travels required.
