adidas is seeking a Visual Merchandiser on a fixed-term contract until 18 August 2026 in Gloucester. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week).
Overview
We are a global sports brand focused on people, innovation, and inclusion. Retail stores are the heart of the adidas brand and the first point of contact with our customers.
Responsibilities
- Showcase creativity through visually appealing product displays in line with adidas brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns, including window displays, in-store displays, category presentation, in-store communication, and mannequin styling.
- Plan and execute visual merchandising strategies in-store in alignment with store management to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Submit weekly/monthly reports on visual merchandising; share best practices, executions, and commercial results.
- Proactively communicate to the store team through training to ensure all merchandising standards are met and upheld, contributing to the customer shopping experience.
- Collaborate with the wider Visual Merchandising team to deliver innovative initiatives during projects and resets.
- Drive store performance through commercial visual merchandising execution, aligned with brand guidance.
Qualifications
- 12+ months of sports/fashion retail experience and 6+ months of additional Visual Merchandising experience.
- Advanced sales knowledge and understanding of product, retail, and industry.
- Ability to travel across the geographical cluster.
- Flexible hours in line with campaigns, layout changes, and opportunities outside of store hours.
- Ability to multi-task and work within tight timelines. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Ensure windows are presented to high standards including mannequin dressing, lighting direction, cleanliness, steaming, and price communication.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; innovative, organized, and able to plan and solve problems with a willingness to learn.
