You’ll be joining our Stockport Head office, home to 18 showrooms, our Conference Centre, staff Wellness Hub, and a truly state-of-the-art gym. Our Stockport team consists of over 350 adidas employees, working across various departments.
What you’ll do:
The Brand Activation Manager will assume a pivotal role in advancing business growth while bolstering brand health key performance indicators within JD Sports. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, this position will develop, implement, and oversee account marketing strategies and activation plans to achieve significant outcomes in alignment with adidas' strategic directives. The role necessitates robust marketing acumen coupled with adept interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships across diverse stakeholder cohorts, including North, European, and Global teams, external agencies, and JD Sports.
An integral part of JD Sports activation strategy is the execution of key strategic priorities across European markets, with a strong focus on France. This role is responsible for driving impactful campaigns that enhance adidas brand visibility and market share across Europe. The successful candidate will lead the briefing and execution of bespoke campaigns across multiple channels and touchpoints, including Retail, Events, Out-of-Home, Influencers, and Social. You must be adept at delivering integrated campaigns that land with impact while ensuring seamless consistency across key channels. Strong collaboration with local brand teams is essential to ensure seamless implementation of global strategies, maintaining best practices at every stage. Additionally, identifying actionable consumer trends and insights—both within France and across the broader EU market—will be critical in driving market share growth and increasing sales across European territories.
Skills you’ll need:
- Previous experience in Account Marketing or Brand Marketing.
- Strong business acumen, ability to assume a broader perspective (cross-markets/global).
- Highly collaborative with strong communication skills.
- High influencing skills and ability to make fact-based decisions.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure.
- Fluent in French (advantageous).
