We’re looking for an experienced retail leader who maintains high standards of themselves and their staff to open and run a brand new Concept Store opening SOON in Cashel Street, Christchurch!
Retail Leaders are expected to lead from the front, inspire success in all areas of people management and store management.
Responsibilities- Managing, motivating and leading the team to achieve KPI’s, sales targets and an exceptional customer experience
- Take full ownership of the store and its commercial success
- Analyze relevant data to probe and challenge the status quo
- Address identified improvement areas, involving the District Manager or other Retail Back Office partners as needed
- Drive continuous improvements in the store’s sales, productivity and profitability
- Lead service by example, maximizing the amount of time spent selling and leading team members on the sales floor
- Work with the District Manager to identify and develop select strong performers with potential for growth along the Retail Field Career Ladder
- Conducting staff training & coaching to drive KPI performance
- Effectively managing all retail operations within a fashion store environment
- Coordinate team members to consistently execute and maintain established Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communication standards
- Coordinate team members to ensure most efficient inventory processing procedures and a seamless stock-to-floor process
- Share best practices to drive the overall store team performance
You will have a commercial mindset and strong retail background with a proven track record of success in a similar retail leadership or supervisory position, consistently leading a team to achieve budgeted sales. You will be motivated, energetic, passionate about achievement and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the following will be highly regarded:
- Retail Store Manager experience in men’s/women’s apparel or sports footwear would be desirable but not essential
- You have experience as a leader in coaching and mentoring your team to succeed
