What you'll do

The difference you will make

As an Area Manager, you'll lead a key operational area within our Distribution Centre, taking ownership of both people and performance.

You'll create a high-performing environment, ensure operational excellence and play a critical role in delivering best-in-class service for our customers while driving continuous improvement across the business.

A day in the life

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse colleagues, creating a positive, high-performance culture aligned to adidas values.
  • Drive operational performance across your designated area, ensuring productivity, quality, safety and service targets are consistently achieved.
  • Monitor area KPIs, analyse performance data and implement corrective actions where required to improve results.
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards, delivering training, promoting wellbeing and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and support wider Supply Chain initiatives.

  • Essential: Previous people management experience within a warehouse / distribution centre environment.
  • Essential: Substantial leadership experience managing operational teams within a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams while driving engagement, accountability and performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset and a focus on operational excellence.
  • Experience working with warehouse management systems and warehouse control systems, alongside good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the business.
  • Flexible approach to working patterns, including the ability to provide night shift cover when required.
