adi Projects Process Engineer

Location – Kings Norton, Birmingham

About the Role

As a Process Engineer, you'll work alongside the adi Projects team to support all aspects of project execution – from concept design through to commissioning and client handover. This is a diverse and customer-facing role offering exposure to multiple industries, technologies, and project types.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support client sites through customer-facing engagement and value-added solutions.
  • Assist in developing engineering and project opportunities from concept to handover.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical estimates and pricing for new work.
  • Liaise with customers to define project parameters such as capacity, efficiency, and product range.
  • Coordinate with equipment suppliers to ensure technical compliance and accurate cost estimates.
  • Support and conduct site surveys to clarify client requirements and project scopes.
  • Undertake process engineering tasks related to scheme development and scope definition.
  • Assist in planning and managing internal engineering resources assigned to projects.
  • Support the coordination and management of subcontractor resources involved in project delivery.

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • An accredited degree in Chemical Engineering is essential.
  • Experience gained in a process or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with process simulation tools (e.g. Aspen, HYSYS, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK with a full UK driving license.
