About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with our operational teams, you will lead the generation of profitable new business for adi Food & Beverage. You will shape our pipeline, build influential industry relationships, lead compelling tender submissions, and ensure seamless project handovers that set our teams up for success.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop, own and manage a strong pipeline of project opportunities to meet annual sales targets
- Build and nurture senior relationships across the food & beverage and manufacturing sectors
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market analysis, networking and industry engagement
- Lead and manage complex tenders in collaboration with the Bid Director and operational teams
- Act as the primary client interface throughout the bid and tender process, including presentations and negotiations
- Develop compelling, value-adding commercial and operational solutions
- Drive opportunities through to financial and commercial close, ensuring smooth handover and contract mobilisation
- Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity data within the adi CRM system
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Proven senior sales leadership experience within engineering, construction or project-led environments
- Demonstrable experience selling diverse engineering project solutions into the food and beverage manufacturing sector
- Strong track record of winning complex, high-value project bids
- An engineering-biased background (degree-qualified or career-developed) is highly desirable
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills
- Commercially astute with the ability to translate client needs into profitable, compliant solutions
- Strategic, proactive and value-driven approach
