ADI Leak Detection is the UK's market leader of non-invasive leak detection. We are seeking an experienced plumber to join the team as a Leak Detection Engineer, covering inquiries from Exeter and the surrounding area. This position is offered on a self-employed basis. Training, uniforms, and all the leak detection equipment will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company and take your plumbing career to the next level!
About Us
ADI Leak Detection specialises in locating leaks on domestic and commercial pipework, roofs, building structures, drains, and swimming pools. We use advanced non-invasive technologies such as tracer gases, acoustic listening equipment, thermal imaging drones, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Non-invasive leak detection on domestic/commercial pipework (heating systems, hot feeds, cold feeds, and water mains)
- Aiming for same day access and repair to leaking pipework when possible
- Opportunity to branch out into roof leak detection, drain surveys, and water mains replacements depending on your area of expertise and experience
- Complete a comprehensive report for every job carried out using the template on our bespoke mobile app
- Work is booked on a 1 job per day basis - no rushing around between multiple jobs!
Essential Requirements:
- Registered plumber
- NVQ level 2/3 qualified plumber
- Minimum 5 years plumbing experience
- Problem solving, 'think outside the box' mindset
- Motivation and drive to work independently on the majority of jobs
- Passion and enthusiasm for the service we provide
- Polite, presentable, with good customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Public liability insurance
- Own van and plumbing tools
- Clean UK driving licence
- Experience in the fields of roofing, building, drainage or similar is desirable but not essential
