We’re looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to lead daily site activities, manage resources, and ensure high standards of health, safety, and quality. You’ll support the planning and delivery of engineering projects, working closely with clients and teams to achieve smooth, efficient operations. A key part of the role will be managing and supervising pipework, fabrication, and mechanical installations, ensuring all activities are planned, coordinated, and delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead on-site operations, overseeing pipework, fabrication, welding, and mechanical installations from planning to completion.
  • Conduct inspections, solve issues, and drive continuous quality improvements.
  • Mentor apprentices and junior staff, promoting skill development and teamwork.
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance, including toolbox talks and site procedures.
  • Support project planning, installation, commissioning, and documentation.
  • Maintain excellent client communication and a high service standard.

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Proven fabrication, welding and mechanical installation experience.
  • A time-served trade apprenticeship with TIG welding, fabrication, and fitting skills.
  • Ability to work independently, supervise teams, and coordinate with Project Management.
  • Proven ability to mentor and train apprentices, fostering high-performing, cohesive teams.
  • Good communication, planning, and organisational skills, ensuring efficient project delivery.
  • Health & Safety aware, able to produce Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Experience in the food & beverage industry; IOSH, SSSTS, or equivalent certified.
