As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical engineering projects from conception to completion within the oil & gas industry. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical installations, processes, and components to meet project specifications. The Electrical Project Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manages project timelines, and budgets, and ensures that all electrical engineering aspects align with safety and quality standards.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource requirements.
- Oversee the design and engineering phases of oil and gas projects, including facility layouts, piping, instrumentation, and equipment specifications.
- Collaborate with design teams and provide technical expertise to ensure project specifications are met.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance and support.
- To develop the business for adi Electrical by securing opportunities within our existing and future customers by securing additional revenue and profit whilst ensuring we maintain a strong working relationship
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments.
- Collaborate with the design team to create detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Review and approve design changes and modifications.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex electrical engineering issues.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
