About the Role

We are seeking experienced Process Pipefitter Welders with a background in stainless steel fabrication and process installation within the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. The ideal candidate will be time‑served, with the ability to work independently and use their initiative with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabrication, welding, and installation of pipework in the process industry
  • Primarily using TIG purge welding to deliver high‑quality installations
  • Installing hygienic pipework, steam and condensate systems
  • Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, and maintenance tasks
  • Independently survey, measure, and plan pipework routes accurately
  • Perform fabrication tasks in the workshop and on‑site, ensuring excellent quality and efficiency
  • Assist in generating bills of materials, preparing RAMS, and purchase requisitions as needed

About You

  • Completion of a recognised qualification or time‑served apprenticeship in a relevant trade
  • Proven experience in stainless steel fabrication and process installations
  • Significant experience in welding and fabrication, including pipework and bracketry
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&ID’s
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Sound understanding of Health and Safety regulations and best practices
