About the Role

We’re looking for a People & Recruitment Coordinator to join our Group HR team and support both recruitment and day-to-day HR administration across adi Group. Around 40–50% of the role will focus on recruitment, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, carrying out initial telephone calls, coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication and maintaining recruitment systems and pipelines. You’ll work closely with our People & Talent Advisor, supporting recruitment across a range of specialist and technical roles. The rest of the role will focus on practical HR administration, including new starters, onboarding, induction, HR systems, employee records, benefits, training, employee changes, leavers and general HR support. This role would suit someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on coordination role, likes keeping processes organised and accurate, and is happy supporting a busy HR team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment activity across the Group, from vacancy advertising through to interview coordination and candidate management.
  • Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards and recruitment databases.
  • Review CVs and applications and carry out initial screening calls.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and recruitment records.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain regular communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Support with recruitment reporting and system administration.
  • Prepare offer letters, contracts and new starter documentation.
  • Support onboarding and induction activity.
  • Set up new starters on HR systems and relevant platforms.
  • Support with Human Focus, Drive IQ and other employee system administration.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
  • Support with employee changes and standard HR administration.
  • Support with benefits portal administration.
  • Support with leaver and offboarding administration.
  • Support apprenticeship recruitment and Apprenticeship Academy activity.
  • Support the Responsible Business programme and associated activity.
  • Assist the People & Talent Advisor and Group HR Director with people projects and process improvements.
  • Provide a professional, responsive and confidential service to candidates, employees and managers.

About You

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Some previous experience in recruitment, HR administration or a people-focused role.
  • A good understanding of the recruitment process.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • Confidence dealing with candidates, employees and managers.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, recruitment platforms and HR systems.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A professional approach to confidential information.
  • A reliable, consistent and methodical approach to work.
  • An interest in a varied coordination role with a strong mix of recruitment and HR administration.
