About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with a background in water treatment to join our team. This role combines technical water treatment consultancy with account management and business development, helping customers improve system efficiency, ensure compliance, and reduce operational costs.
You’ll manage a portfolio of existing customers, deliver water treatment services and consultancy, and identify opportunities to grow accounts through additional products and services. The role is approximately 70% account management and service delivery, and 30% business development and up‑selling.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver water treatment services, and consultancy visits in line with customer contracts.
- Analyse water quality results and provide recommendations to improve system performance, efficiency, and compliance.
- Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Ensure all contractual activities are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
- Produce service reports and maintain accurate customer records.
- Identify and develop opportunities for additional products and services within existing accounts.
- Manage and progress sales opportunities through the pipeline, working closely with internal teams.
About you

- Proven experience within the water treatment industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of industrial water, steam systems and water quality management.
- Experience carrying out site visits, audits, or technical consultancy.
- Commercially minded with the ability to identify and develop sales opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Well organised, self‑motivated, and customer focused.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
