Hours - Afternoon shift pattern (Monday - Friday)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist / Programmer to run CNC machines and develop CAM programs to produce high-quality, precision components. The role involves machine setup, programming, and inspection within a busy machine shop environment.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Create, develop, and prove CNC programs to produce consistently accurate parts
  • Set up and operate CNC machines for production runs, including manned and unmanned operation
  • Work from customer drawings and specifications, maintaining tight tolerances
  • Carry out routine machine maintenance checks and complete required records
  • Report tooling requirements and suggest tooling or process improvements
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and production teams, providing input for SOPs

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in CNC machining and CAM programming – Preferably Hurco and Edgecam.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
