ADI now has the opportunity for a Logistics Operations Manager to join our team based from our International Head Office in Chadderton, Oldham (3 days office / 2 home). This key role within International Supply Chain will lead day-to-day logistics operations, drive carrier performance, and deliver continuous improvement across a fast-paced global environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily logistics and freight operations across international markets.
- Monitor shipment visibility, handle exceptions, and resolve escalations.
- Oversee import/export activity, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations.
- Manage relationships with carriers and logistics providers.
- Lead performance reviews and quarterly business reviews to ensure KPI delivery.
- Drive cost, service, and performance improvements.
- Oversee freight spend, reporting, and cost analysis.
- Audit invoices, resolve discrepancies, and manage freight claims.
- Support cost recovery and optimisation initiatives.
- Analyse carrier data to identify improvements.
- Maintain reporting tools and dashboards (Excel / Power BI).
- Track KPIs and drive operational efficiency.
- Lead logistics improvement and transformation projects.
- Support ERP and carrier integration initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight operations.
- Carrier management and performance experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capability.
