ADI Global Distribution is the leading global wholesale distributor of security, AV and low-voltage products. For more than 25 years, we have supported installers, integrators and trade professionals with industry-leading products and exceptional service. We are now looking for a high-performing Area Sales Accounts Manager to support and grow our customer base across the M1 Corridor, covering Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Field Sales Representative, Territory Manager, Business Development Manager, or Account Manager with B2B experience - particularly from Electronic Security, Electrical Wholesale, Trade Distribution, or related sectors.
Job Duties
- Customer Relationship Management
- Manage, retain and grow business with existing customer accounts across your territory.
- Build long-term relationships with security installers, electrical contractors and trade partners.
- Act as the key point of contact for your accounts, providing exceptional service and support.
- New Business Development
- Identify and engage potential new customers to drive territory growth.
- Win new business from competitors by showcasing ADI's value proposition.
- Increase share of wallet with existing accounts through consultative, solution-based selling.
- Sales Execution & Campaign Management
- Lead and execute sales promotion campaigns in collaboration with branches and suppliers.
- Convert campaign activity into pipeline growth and measurable revenue.
- Drive demand generation for ADI's product portfolio through installer and distributor activity.
- Events & Market Engagement
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, supplier roadshows and industry seminars.
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers.
- Represent ADI as a market expert across the security, AV and low-voltage sectors.
- Product & Market Knowledge
- Stay informed on product innovations, emerging technologies and competitor trends.
- Participate in technical and product training sessions.
- Provide insights to support Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP).
You Must Have
- Experience in a field sales, territory management, or B2B account management role.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and customer-facing skills.
- Proactive mindset, strong organisation skills and the ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
