ADI Global Distribution invites applications for an Inside Sales Associate position at our Birmingham Store. The role works MondayâtoâFriday, 8:00 am â 5:00 pm, and offers longâterm career opportunities within the electronic security industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and team in achieving sales and profit targets through effective account management and customer engagement.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences by building and maintaining strong relationships with B2B reseller accounts, strategic vendors, and supply partners.
- Manage a portfolio of reseller accounts, actively track pipelines, close deals, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs.
- Assist in executing store business plans and marketing strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
- Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, escalating when necessary to ensure resolution.
- Deliver products to customers across the region, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Lead by example, promoting positive behaviours and ensuring compliance with audit and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate CRM data to provide visibility on business progress and customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Prior sales/customer service experience â ideally in a trade or wholesale environment, though retail experience is also valued.
- Ability to multiâtask and sell over the phone as well as faceâtoâface.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationshipâbuilding skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence in communicating with customers by phone, offering advice and identifying upselling opportunities.
